Course Description

A Jack Nicklaus Signature Design crafted on 190 mountaintop acres at 9,000 feet, the Summit Course is an 18-hole, 7,530-yard par-72 that takes advantage of the natural, rolling terrain of sage and spruce-covered hills, with stunning views of the Rockies. Nicklaus was able to create additional open space to protect the community's natural beauty and improve hiking and recreational access to three million acres of the neighboring White River National Forest.

Although it is private if you stay at a Rock Resort you can play the Valley course. Beautiful, Sage, Diffucult are the 3 words i think of after i played here after my 4th of July weekend. Instead of a thick heather to gobble your ball up if you cant keep it on the short stuff the Sage here is much more brutal on your score as well as your legs if you go looking for your Pro-V. If you want to leave with more balls than you came with be sure to take a Fore-caddie. From my experience ask for Paul the guy is like a bloodhound for dimpled balls.
